Vesta's Alpaca Roving from his Brown Half
Vesta is a uniquely marked alpaca. He appears to be wearing a brown "vest" and spotted pants. We separated his fleece along the dividing long and created two colors of beautiful alpaca roving for spinning or felting. This roving is from Vesta's brown half. This bump is 6.0 ounces each. There are other sizes available, though the rovings from Vesta's appaloosa half have sold.
Unfortunately, Vesta has sold and moved to a new farm, so these will be our last offerings of his unique fiber.

Alpaca Roving - Blend of Black and Gray Thirds
This alpaca roving is a colorful blend of belly and upper leg fibers from our black and gray alpacas. It has been well skirted, but is still a coarser alpaca fiber than our other rovings. It will work well for needle felting, wet felting, or spinning for use in rugs or baskets. We have a large quantity available in a variety of sizes. These two rovings are approximately 5.9 ounces.
